Rules & Regulations for Abstract submission:
- All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English, with accurate grammar.
- Each person may submit a maximum of two abstracts as the presenting author.
- The presenting author must register for ICACON 2025.
- Only abstracts from registered presenting authors will be included in the final program.
- The presenting author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
- Abstracts must be original and should not have been published in any indexed peer-reviewed journal, nor should they have been submitted, presented, or intended for presentation elsewhere before ICACON 2025.
- The scientific content must be relevant to the field of Anaesthesiology and Critical Care.
- All submitted abstracts must contain novel data. The presenting delegate must obtain the necessary regulatory permissions and take full responsibility for the accuracy of the results.
- Abstracts stating, "Data will be discussed in the presentation," will not be accepted.
- The abstracts should pertain to either original investigations, observations, case series, or case reports.
- All abstracts will be reviewed by the review committee. The final decision on presentation category allocation, changes in category, or rejection will remain at the discretion of the ICACON Abstract Review Committee and the ICACON Scientific Committee.
- The selection committee reserves the right to accept or reject the abstracts.
- The last date for abstract submission is 15th July 2025.
- The acceptance and mode of presentation will be communicated to delegates via email by 1st August 2025.
- Attractive prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each of the three categories: best oral paper, best e-poster (original research/case series), and best e-poster (case report).
- The presenting author’s name must be highlighted. The presenting author’s full name, institution, address for communication, phone number, and email address must be provided. An email address and mobile number are mandatory, as all further communications will be conducted via email.

Abstract Guidelines:
- Abstracts must be written in English and submitted in Word Doc format, using Times New Roman font, size 12.
- Do not include any tables, graphs, or images in the abstract.
Abstract Format: The body of the abstract should be structured as follows:
- Title of the Abstract
- Background, Aims & Objectives
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- Title: Use sentence case without abbreviations. Standard abbreviations may be used in the body of the abstract.
- Word Count: The total word limit is 300 words (excluding references).
- Keywords: Include at least three keywords.
- Authors: A maximum of six authors are permitted per abstract. Include the full name, designation, and affiliation of all authors.
